- A concave semi-circular colonnade would link the Pavilion Gabriel to a new balancing twin, and would be pierced by a pedimented centrepiece; & looming over all, the great dome.
- The ground-floor order would continue full-circle to enclose the forecourt, with a triumphal-arch gate over the entrance.
